Ioannis Kollaros: Very good question. Filipinos cannot be represented under one culture. They are different cultures depending where in the country you are. Tawi tawi and batanes feels like two different countries. The language is another representative in every culture. In Philippines the official language of the country is Filipino (according to the constitution) but there is not such language, tagalog is not filipino, a language to be spoken in the entire country. The what is traditional filipino and not from spaniards or other former owners, is in the indigenous tribes which can be found throughout the country. Some shows featuring dances, may be found around manila but they originate from the times of spaniards so it is subjective how well they represent filipino culture.
