Lana Avery: I find Landmark in Makati has the best quality meat and vegetables and they have recently started stock a lot more expat groceries. I only go to S&R for cheese and bulk laundry / cleaning stuff. Look that The Welsh Deli as well – great Deli stuff and they deliver! I stopped buying all fruit and veg from rustans – it went off so quickly….. never liked SM groceries..

Demolder Thierry: There is: a Market Market and SM aura they are 150 meters from each other. A robinson near burgus circle. One in uptown mall ( basement level, not sure of the name). It depends of what you are looking for.
Nic Lafuente: Oh yeah S&R is good value but mostly bulk items so more than I usually need.I wouldn’t leave BGC for shopping. There are more than enough options in the city
Boris Källström: I go to SM for Tesco stuff and go Rustans for Whiterose stuff. Otherwise, normal grocery shopping seems to go best in Landmark but don’t go on weekends – there’s almost nothing to buy and it’s full of people.

Gillian Fagg: S M Aura supermarket has a tesco and European section. Other than that Marks and Spencer’s again in SM or central square in BGC. Santis has great fresh meat and veg at back of central square.

Dave Martin: I’ve lived in BGC for 4 years – the above answers are all good – you need to me more specific what you are looking for. We buy our meat and veg from a local wet market one stop along C5 as it’s actually more fresh – all meat from a supermarket has been frozen at least once. We get most of our other shopping at Market Market – but if we want western stuff or some nicer quality meat – Rustans on the high street. We joined S&R once but then refunded the membership as the general prices are expensive and I don’t need a crate of some American prefab food, but many people love S&R. We now have a Robinsons Select in our road, which is handy, and probably the better place for fresh salad things…. I don’t think there is one place for all ones normal requirements.. enjoy!
