Trying to find quality wardrobes with mirrors in Manila. Not having any luck Any suggestions appreciated
Cecelia Holland: Check Ourhome, Megamall or North Edsa
Gabrielle Salazar: There’s an awesome import furniture boutique on the second floor of Greenhills above the food court closest to Wildflour Cafe. They have beautiful unique pieces from all over the world.
Zariah Gardner: We found the best price in of all places a Puregold mall .. we got a SanYan stand for 70” 4k tv for under 9k that I see in malls for 17-18k and wardrobe was 13000 with mirror and sculpture decorative front with drawers .. it looked like ikea thickness but was not branded… similar were 20s I saw in expat Manila selling two for sale 10k each w/o delivery I’d say 30k quality or better they’re wood not particle board.
Jazmin Rios: Try philux in megamall and also you can have it custom made w real hard wood..try 4th level market market ask where the furniture section is…

Saylor Ruiz: Wow, some of the best carpenters are here in the Philippines… Obviously you are not married because a Philippine wife would take you to the province and introduce you to one of her family members… Some guys you can show a picture of a piece of furniture to and he will duplicate it… I’ve done it and where I live in Ilocos Norte many foreigners get their beds and cabinets done that way. The most common are beds and kitchen cabinets made to order for the cheap. I’m not going to say you will be happy with the wood selection though because I’m not well learned about woods… Just go to any province and nose around… I hope this helps you.
Cameron Wolfe: you wont find any in Manila most that you’ll find in malls will be made of fake wood, go to nearby provinces, like Pampanga, Bulacan, Rizal, or Quezon
Saylor Ruiz:Juan: I was thinking that but I don’t know about the various types of wood. Only thing is having it shipped. Maybe pay a bike haulers to piggyback and pay under the table… It’s what the locals do. 😊
Cameron Wolfe: Saylor Ruiz: acacia, narra, mahogany it’s illegal to cut narra tree but they still do it
Addison Porter: Better drop by in HMR, Pioneer St Mandaluyong City
